We were at the zoo, watching the gibbons, who were also watching us, when my son put his hand against the glass. I saw a moment of identification between the two. Had the gibbon also placed his hand on the glass, it would have been a truly surreal moment. Didn't get that photo, though.

We're in Wisconsin, and it's unfortunately only 60 degrees. I feel blessed, though, that no one in my family was affected by the recent flooding.
