The Journey Ahead

Found a way to post through Picasa that doesn't use large image sizes, so it is much quicker with dial-up. However, the quality is not as good . . . Still, I couldn't wait to post some of these.

Technical Difficulties

Well, it will be awhile before I can post again. I'm out of town, and dial-up is much too slow for the large file size of my photos. Come back again soon!

Color

I took this shot at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. They have a Chihuly exhibit, and this was a whole glass ceiling suspending a collection of colorful, fired glass. The reflection on the marble flooring was pretty spectacular!

The Obligatory "Watermelon" Shot

Several people have told me lately they check my blog regularly but don't comment. Thanks for your interest. I appreciate you! :) This blog is for my own sense of purpose. I try each day to take a photo worthy of the blog. I also am trying to get my work "out there" so people can see what I love to do and how I might be able to capture some similar moments for them. It's a work of passion, pure and simple.

On the Move

Nostalgia . . . these two pics bring back the memories.

Somehow, for some reason, we pretended our tricycle was an ice cream factory. That's the innocence of childhood. That, and running over your mom with a big wheel.

Rock Star

My son in a complete candid moment, lasting only a split second. I increased the shadows, highlights, and color temperature.

Looking for Dinosaur Bones

The kids had an awesome time today digging for dinosaur bones in the gutter. Aidan's idea.

Happy 4th of July

My son decided to give the country what was in his hand at the time . . . air. Generous.

I love how the points of light on the next image actually look like stars!

Valerie & Matt 2

Mom patting Matt's cheeks . . .

I loved it . . . after the ceremony, we returned to Valerie's and Matt's house to let out the dog, Sideways, and for a bit of a snack break.
