Summer Stroll

If you look closely at the third photo, you can see a butterfly to the right of Sara's hat . . . (click on picture to enlarge). I edited this using Picnik, though I'm not sure I like it as well as the original. Thoughts on the look?

Grandma

Taking portraits of people who hate cameras is difficult, but here's my attempt at being sneaky around my grandma while she plays with my daughter.

The Joy of Boys

I took this photo while in San Antonio of two young teens chasing each other around the Riverwalk. I think it captures their exuberance. Wish we could all always be this carefree.

Happy 4th!

Shot at ISO 100, 1/3s, and f/3.2. I tried to get the kids to stand still, but with sparklers in their hands, that wasn't easy. Though the images are a bit blurry, I still like the effect.

And, the obligatory firework shot . . .

Yep, he's watching TV . . .

Natural light and a slow shutter speed. Love the light in his eyes.
