By Candlelight

A moment that I hope will always stay with me is my daughter and I sitting by candlelight on Christmas Eve, waiting for her brother and Daddy to come home from their trip to look at lights in the park.

She is directly on the other side of the candles, but the room was so dark we couldn't see each other. All I heard was her soft singing of "Twinkle Twinkle". Peace, joy, and a little bit of magic.
